After years of work, we are finally pleased to open the doors of Cantina Meraviglia, created inside the former Cariola Quarry, active until the 1980s for the extraction of rhyolite. A truly unique place, which reinterprets an area once marked by decay and now transformed into a distinctive space dedicated to the production of fine wine.
Its 7,000 square meters of production areas take advantage of the quarry’s natural features – thermal inertia and constant humidity release – creating the ideal conditions for vinification and aging.
The experience begins at Tenuta Le Colonne, where you will leave your car and board the iconic Defender for a panoramic ride through vineyards and cork oaks. Upon arrival at the winery, you will visit the barrel hall, with its large French oak casks, and the vinification room, featuring the raw-concrete tulipes. The tour concludes on the panoramic terrace overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, where you will taste three wines from Tenuta Meraviglia: Botro dei Fichi Bolgheri Bianco DOC, Bolgheri Rosso DOC, and Maestro di Cava Bolgheri Superiore DOC.

- The fee for non-drinking guests and children aged 12 and over is €50
- Cancellation policy: no refunds will be issued, except for cancellations made at least 72 hours before the tour. In such cases, a voucher valid for one year will be provided for the purchased experience
