“Meraviglia.” A name that speaks for itself: unique, visionary, suspended between nature and architecture. Where the Cariola quarry once stood—a rhyolite quarry abandoned in the 1980s—today a new landscape is reborn. The winery does not impose itself, but blends into the rock, reflects the sea, and is embraced by the Mediterranean scrub. Here, nature is not a backdrop but the true protagonist.

This experience takes place in small groups and starts at 11:00 a.m. It begins with a guided tour of the winery, where you will learn about Tenuta Meraviglia’s approach to viticulture and winemaking. After the tour, a tasting of the estate’s wines will be held in the panoramic rooms overlooking the Tuscan Archipelago, an ideal setting to appreciate the characteristics of Cabernet Franc in Bolgheri.

The experience continues at the Tenuta Le Colonne wine shop, located a short distance from the winery, where a light lunch will be served. The menu features local products and simple, authentic flavors specifically selected to pair with the wines of the area. The activity is designed for guests who want to deepen their understanding of the Bolgheri appellation through both tasting and food pairing.

  • Tasting of three Tenuta Meraviglia wines: Botro dei Fichi Bolgheri Vermentino Doc, Bolgheri Rosso Doc, and Maestro di Cava Bolgheri Superiore Doc in the panoramic tasting room
  • Light lunch at Tenuta Le Colonne
  • Booking required at least 24 hours before the activity
  • For safety reasons, we cannot accommodate children under 12 years of age or pets
  • The fee for non-drinking guests and children aged 12 and over is €50
  • Cancellation policy: no refunds will be issued, except for cancellations made at least 72 hours before the tour. In such cases, a voucher valid for one year will be provided for the purchased experience
